I am Sick and Tired of Calling Natural Aging "Brave"
This era is going to be marked by the rise of the medspa.
Wake Up Dead Man was what finally broke me. The water had been pooling against the dam for quite some time, but I had managed to hold firm, smiling while acknowledging that every person can make their own decisions on the matter. But it was during the climax of the movie when Glenn Close had her big, shining moment (if you’ve seen the movie, you know the one) when I felt it snap. Her perfect, glassy skin could barely express emotions. It was simply too frozen. It seemed even this mousy church hermit had a punch card at the medspa in the next city over.
It has always been impossible to exist in the body of a woman. We had the Barbie movie to remind us of this.
